Top 1 802.11g Wireless Routers With 108 Mbps Extensions

Many wireless home network routers support the 802.11g WiFi standard. 802.11g offers a maximum theoretical bandwidth of 54 Mbps. However, some WiFi router manufacturers have added proprietary extensions to their 802.11g products, enabling them to support 108 Mbps (up to twice the standard bandwidth). Proprietary in this case means the router must be matched with compatible network adapters, often from the same manufacturer, to realize the higher bandwidth.
