Download WinMX, the official client, to tap into the WinMX peer to peer file sharing network. To download WinMX, choose from any of several different versions as listed below:

• download WinMX 3.53 at techspot.com
• download WinMX 3.31 at oldversion.com
• download WinMX 2.6 at oldversion.com

Because the WinMX network has been abandoned by its overseers, these WinMX clients may fail to connect once installed. Before downloading WinMX, consider using an alternative P2P network (see sidebar).
