What Is Back to My Mac?

Monday November 17, 2008
Mac OS X Leopard at Apple WWDC "Back to My Mac" is a remote desktop access feature of Apple computers running Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or newer. Back to My Mac allows you to connect to a Mac computer on your home network from outside, while at work or traveling. It uses several popular network technologies including UPnP to work with your broadband router and IPSec for protecting data. Note that you also need a subscription to the MobileMe (formerly, .Mac) Internet services to use Back to My Mac.
