Troubleshooting a Slow Internet Connection - Discuss

"I have a 1.5 Mbps... DSL connection shared between two computers. One is wireless, one is wired.... Around a month ago something happened, and now even if one computer is off, the download speed never exceeds 90KB/s... on the other.

"I have tried resetting the router to factory default settings, which didn't do anything except force me to reapply the security settings. I am using a Belkin router, if that makes a difference... ."
