| Reference | Recently a visitor to our site noticed that Microsoft Excel's DEC2BIN function only works for numbers up to 511. This well known limitation in Excel is annoying for network engineers and other folks who need to work with much larger decimal numbers sometimes. Fortunately, we've provided a Javascript calculator on this site to allow converting between decimal and binary numbers up to 31 bits in size. See - Binary and Decimal Number Converter
