Illegal in Singapore - "Borrowing" Your Neighbor's WiFi

| Commentary | This week, a 17-year old Singapore boy received a criminal probation sentence for sneaking onto his neighbor's wireless network to access the Internet. Even though the boy did not engage in illegal Internet activity, simply tapping into someone else's private network without permission violates the criminal code in Singapore.

i saw your page that is illegal in singapore.i think i appreciate him, because of much of them don’t know about a network security. but a small boy done a job as very well. sorry guy don’t mistake me, since if the technalogy growth is well simultaniously mis operation also credited.
i want a basic networking tutorials, because of i am going to attend ccna exam on next month.

i think that the world should follow the way singapore delivers its laws.if you break it you go to jail simple as that.not like here in the bloody uk.you steal a million pounds on credit card fraud and you only do 1-2yrs in prison.run somebody over with your car and you might only do 6-12 months in jail.rob somebody’s house maybe at 6months at most.great country with crap laws!!!! if only they follow how america delivers its law,zero tolerance!! uk is slowly becoming a haven of criminals…
