Using 10.1.1.1 to Connect to a Router

http://10.1.1.1/
How 10.1.1.1 Works
This IP address is set as default by the manufacturer for some D-Link DSL and Belkin routers. However, any router or computer on a local network can be set to use it. (To avoid address conflicts, only one device on the network should use it, however.)10.1.1.1 is a private IPv4 network address meaning that you cannot connect to a router from outside the home network using this address. Instead, you must use the router's public IP address.
