Morpheus was at one time one of the most popular
peer-to-peer (P2P) applications. However, morpheus.com has been defunct since October, 2008, and official Morpheus downloads are no longer available.

With the demise of its official distributor, StreamCast Networks, Morpheus is no longer maintained, and using it for online file sharing is generally not recommended. Additionally, watch for companies that may be using the Morpheus name to distribute unrelated and potentially harmful software downloads.
