What Is the Typical Salary of a Field Technician?

Q. "I work for an electric company that now installs voice and data. What is the typical pay for someone that has one year of experience in this? I run all cable, punch into the panel, troubleshoot and test (including Penta Scan Channel Testing). I work out of town most of the time."
A. "A field technician doing voice and data installs, pulling cable, testing and troubleshooting should be at least making about $45,000 to $50,000 (USD). With about a year in the business, they should be making $50K... (See below)
