Contact Your Guide

Like all the Guides at About, I'm a real person available to help. You have multiple options for getting the information you want!

Start With The Basics

The word "basic" in computer networking is something of a misnomer. Really nothing about the subject is truly basic. However, I've found that the most popular place for many people to get started in their quest for information is with the Basic Networking subject area.

Catch Me On the Forum!

I give a higher priority to questions that are posted in the Computer Networking Forum. The Forum (message board) is a great place for you to ask questions and get answers because you'll get information from the many other "regulars" there besides myself!

Search This Site

If you have perused a few pages but cannot find what you're looking for, the Search Box might be your best bet. Located at the top of every page, you can use Search to first look within the Computer Networking topic area, then change the default setting and search all of About instead.

Drop Me A Line

You are always welcome to email me at compnetworking.guide@about.com. If you want to report a broken link, ask a question, submit a site for inclusion in the Computer Networking directory, or just comment on some specific aspect of network technology, you can be certain that I will read your message.
