Information Technology professionals who are doing well in their job can apparently look forward to a good-sized raise next year. That's according to a recent analyst report cited by NetworkWorld. At the top end, highly-paid network architects could expect to see an average 7% increase based on how the surveyed companies plan to adjust their 2012 salary ranges upward in the new year. Lower compensated network engineers and administrators may also see similar percentage gains.
What's the fastest-rising job category? Mobile application developers are on track to see 9% gains next year, with wireless network engineers coming in second. All in all, it's shaping up to be a great year ahead for network professionals.... if you believe the survey data.
