For only $29 USD, you can now use your Mac's Thunderbolt adapter to connect to Ethernet networks. Apple started selling this new type of cable adapter this month. It supports up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds, resulting in noticeably faster network data transfers compared to Wi-Fi wireless connections.
