Imogen Heap appeared at the 2010 Grammy Awards wearing what some have called a Wi-Fi enabled twitdress. The Twitter Dress was powered by an accessory bag containing an iPod touch that in turn connected to a LED display collar and online via a sewn-in router. Although overhyped ten years ago, so-called wearable technology is starting to get a foothold in the market. More practical examples of wearable tech than the twitdress include 3D shutter glasses, Wi-Fi and GPS locators.
