Router Face Off - Linksys WRT54GS vs. Netgear WGR614L

"Pick your preferred router - Linksys WRT54GS or Netgear WGR614L? Both of them are Broadcom based ... and well suited for many third party firmwares like Tomato, DD-WRT. I would prefer Netgear WGR614L ... much more stable and faster than the Linksys one. Besides, a 614v8 is cheap also."

It’s great to see Netgear jumping into the open source compatible router market. What I’m wondering is why no one has (yet) come out with a model with advanced features like 802.11n and gigabit ethernet that can still use open source firmware. THAt would be cool. ;)
