About iNetworkTest for iPhone Apple iPhone

Tuesday March 18, 2008
| Commentary | The iNetworkTest is a Web service designed to test the speed of Apple iPhone Internet connections. Pointing an iPhone to the iNetworkTest home page will allow you to start a (brief) bandwidth measurement test cycle over whichever type of network is currently connected (either Wi-Fi or cellular Edge). You can also view statistics on the average connection speeds being achieved by those who use the service.

According to the iNetworkTest database, you may expect an iPhone to enjoy data rates of over 500 Kbps when accessing the Internet over Wi-Fi but less than 200 Kbps are very possible when relying on Edge networks. More - iphonenetworktest.com
