The First Large-Scale 802.11n Wi-Fi LAN

| Commentary | Morrisville State College in New York USA will host the first large-scale 802.11n WLAN. This deployment will be a testbed to confirm 802.11n technology is ready for use by businesses and larger enterprises even though the final standard is not yet approved. Compared to 802.11g and earlier Wi-Fi standards, the increased wireless signal intensity of and network traffic supported by 802.11n may pose some scalability challenges for the network.
