107 Gbps - A New Broadband Speed Record

| Commentary | [via NetworkWorld] How powerful is a fiber optic network cable? Siemens recently claimed to have achieved 107 Gbps with theirs, apparently a new record for network speed. Don't expect this kind of performance to be coming to your neighborhood anytime soon, however.

This one is slow! I got a download speed of 2 TB (terabytes) on my home network. I tried to make a video and take a picture but was not able to take or make the video.
