| Commentary | When AOL posted search logs of hundreds of thousands of subscribers this week, each person was listed as a code number. However, the identity of at least one AOL searcher was uncovered without much effort as experts predicted. Records of your visits to all Web sites, not just AOL, are based on your network IP address, making it difficult to stay truly anonymous anywhere online.
