Red Swoosh P2P

Thursday July 6, 2006
| Commentary | The newest P2P file sharing system making a big buzz these days is Red Swoosh. The Red Swoosh system works by managing a distributed connection management and download environment using its own peer-to-peer file sharing network protocol. Instead of sharing files directly from a local hard drive like most popular P2P clients, Red Swoosh works exclusively with Internet URLs instead. Red Swoosh is an appealing alternative to Bit Torrent for people looking to distribute large files hosted on public Web sites.
