Business Networking - What Is A Junxion Box?

Sunday November 6, 2005
| Commentary | The Junxion Box&trade is a portable network router and Internet hotspot. A Junxion Box works by connecting to cellular data networks through an installed modem. The JB-110b provides both WiFi and Ethernet connectivity for nearby devices. Some people may be disappointed the unit does not support the 802.11g WiFi standard, but that's coming soon. Although a cellular Internet connection may run almost as slow as dialup sometimes, nevertheless this device offers its owners a flexible, practical Internet solution when few alternatives exist.
