WinMXGroup Offers Another WinMX Patch

| News | If the well-publicized Windows network host file patch for WinMX doesn't get your client running again, here's an alternative. The folks who administer winxgroup.com are back and have a new WinSock 2 DLL patch for WinMX available. Although WinSock 2.0 is a fairly advanced internal networking component of newer Windows operating systems, this patch is safe to try.

This article is WAY outta date now, WinMXGroup is no longer operating. WinMX users wishing to connect to the network need to get the new WinMX Community patch, which is supported by the major WinMX groups and operated by WinMX users:
