What worked for me (finally) was going to the system properties (from control panel then, in category view go to performance and maintenance category then go to system. Once in system select Hardware then select Device Manager.

In device manager, go to network adapter, right click on your network adaptor and select “update driver” or Enable if disabled.

I went to the device (5). i noticed where it says other device, it has a question mark. so i clicked on it, and then i highlighted “network adaptor”, right clicked on that, and updated the driver. it worked within a minute!!

When I went to “network adaptor”, it only gave the option of “scan for hardware changes” or “properties”. What should i do?
