802.11n Wireless Networking Standard

Sunday March 20, 2005
| Definition | 802.11n is an emerging standard for high-speed Wi-Fi networking. 802.11n offers throughput greater than 100 Mbps and is destined to replace all of the earlier 802.11a, 802.11b and even 802.11g Wi-Fi standards, someday. A few manufacturers are already offering "pre-N" wireless gear based on an early draft of the standard.
