| Commentary | Lufthansa Airlines is piloting (heh, heh) the first routinely-offered broadband Internet service during commerical flights. This article describes the 802.11b gear from Cisco and modifications to the Boeing 747 aircraft to make this service possible. Fees range from about $10-$30 USD per flight and downloads cruise as fast as 3 Mbps.
